FAQ
A complied list of questions I've been asked by readers either in the comment section, thru email, or my Southern Mommas page. Some are frequent, some I've only been asked once.
What do you do for a living?
Like what I do for a job to make money everyday? I don't like to talk about personal stuff like that here on the web. There are just too many psychos. I have a job that I really like! It's not my dream job, but it is how I pay my bills and feed into my craft addictions. Why can't I leave a comment on a post? or What happened to the comment I left on a post?
When I first began this blog, I allowed anyone to leave comments on posts. As a result sometimes comments were not too nice and/or caused drama. Realizing that is one of the outcomes of having a blog, I disabled the comments options and deleted all comments some time within 2009. Sometime is 2010, I started allowing people to comment again. Anonymous comments are not an option, you must be logged-in an account. What does DTB stand for?
"Down the Bayou"-- My hometown is down the bayou in South Louisiana. DTB is how alot of people who are from there, but don't live there anymore, refer to it. Do you really call your mother Momma Mia or is that just how you refer to her on your blog?
Yes, most of the time. We are not Italian or anything. I think I started calling her that around the time I went to college. We used to watch the video of the play, Momma Mia, alot when I was little. Where is your favorite place to shop?
Target, TJ Maxx, Marshall's (I'm frugal) Where did you get your Christmas ornaments?
I made them, I bought most of the supplies at Hobby Lobby.Which blog template did use use? Who did your blog layout?
I used the "Simple Template" thru Blogger. If you go all the way to the bottom of my blog it gives the name and author. I did my own banner and stuff. You talk often of your flip flops, do you have a favorite brand?
Volatile--They are sooo comfy! Why do you always sign you name as Rhi or Rhi Rhi? Are those nick names? And also, is there anything behind the phrase "Much love" when you sign your name?
Some of my friends and co-workers call me my those names. When I was in college my friends starting calling me Rhi or Rhi Rhi. I was so relieved not to have the nick name Banana anymore, which is what all my grade and high school friends called me. It was short for Rhianna Banana. I sometimes sign my name with Much love, My heart is full, or With a smile. I'm not sure where I got them from. I think, My heart is full, is from Designing Women. I just try to end my post with how I'm feeling.
Thanks for all the questions!!
